It’s been 15 years since Leonardo DiCaprio brought a girlfriend with him to an awards show. He’s finally broken that drought.

Leonardo DiCaprio and his 22-year-old girlfriend Camila Morrone made their award show debut, appearing together at the 2020 Oscars.

It’s been 15 years since DiCaprio, 45, has brought a romantic date to an award show — he was joined by Gisele Bündchen at the Oscars in 2005.

While DiCaprio didn’t pose for photos on the red carpet with his model girlfriend, the couple were seen laughing and chatting as they sat front row next to his Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood co-star Brad Pitt. Check out these cute moments.

The Inception star looked dashing in a tux and Morrone wore a custom Carolina Herrera gown with Tiffany & Co. jewellery.

The pair reportedly began dating in December 2017.

Morrone recently defended their 23-year age gap, telling the Los Angeles Times, “There’s so many relationships in Hollywood — and in the history of the world — where people have large age gaps. I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date.”

The Oscar-winner is nominated for Best Actor for his role in Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood.

It was a good thing he chose to bring Morrone along to the Oscars instead of the Golden Globes, where the veteran actor was roasted by host Ricky Gervais for dating younger women.

During Gervais’ opening monologue, the controversial comedian slammed the three-hour run time of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

“Leo DiCaprio attended the premiere and by the end, his date was too old for him,” Gervais joked. “Even Prince Andrew is like, ‘Come on, mate’.”
