Actress Kate Beckinsale has been photographed holding hands with her new boyfriend, who is 24 years her junior.

British actress Kate Beckinsale has been spotted hand in hand with her new boyfriend, who is 24 years her junior.

Mother-of-one Beckinsale, 46, and Canadian musician Goody Grace, 22, were photographed wearing face masks and gloves as they went on a grocery run at the weekend in Los Angeles.

The new couple are self-isolating together at Beckinsale’s home.

Beckinsale has been leaving comments on Grace’s Instagram posts since February, even leaving a heart emoji on one of his snaps.

Beckinsale and Grace first made headlines in January when they were seen leaving a pre-Grammys party together, and were also pictured in April walking the Pearl Harbor actress’ dog.

She was forced to defend herself last month after a troll on Instagram called out the age-gap between the couple.

Uploading a video of her cat as she attempted to train it to sit inside a box, one user wrote: “Try and see if your new tom (sic) boy will adhere.”

Beckinsale clapped back calling out the user’s spelling mistake: “Try and see if you can spell and not just goon yourself straight out the gate.”

The Underworld star previously had a fling with Ariana Grande’s ex-fiance, Saturday Night Live personality Pete Davidson, 26. They dated for three months before calling it quits in April last year.

During their union, Beckinsale confessed being in such a public relationship was a new experience for her.

“I’m surprised by the interest,” she told the Los Angeles Times in March last year. “I’ve never been in this position before – never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief. It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to.

“I’d rather not have people hiding outside my house,” she said. “It’s a little old-fashioned to have a woman’s personal life (looked at like that). It’s a little bit tired.”

Prior to that she had her fair share of younger men – including Jack Whitehall, 31 and comedian Matt Rife, 23.

Beckinsale has a 21-year-old daughter, Lily, with Welsh actor, Michael Sheen. The pair had an eight-year relationship before splitting in 2003.
