Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck ‘struggling for months’ with their marriage, claims insider
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are believed to have been facing divorce for quite some time, despite only marrying two years ago.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly on “two different pages” in their marriage amid rumours they are headed toward divorce.
On Wednesday, it was reported that the pair have been “unable to make it work” and are set to split after just two years of marriage.
As rumours continue to swirl, an insider has claimed that the “issues” have been going on for quite some time.
“Jen and Ben are having issues in their marriage,” a source told Us Weeklyon Thursday. “They started having issues a few months ago as Jen had started ramping up work commitments and prepping for her tour.”
The singer is currently “very focused on work” as she is set to start her poorly-sold This is Me … Now: A Love Story world tour in Orlando next month.
“They are on two completely different pages most of the time,” the source added.
Despite their marriage woes, it’s been claimed that the pair haven’t given up hope yet.
“Ben believes in therapy, to a point, and is willing to be a good sport about participating with an open mind, even though he hates the whole humiliating process,” an insider told In Touch. “He’s never going to gauge the success of this marriage by what happens in the therapist’s office. He also has a higher tolerance for conflict and having to fight to get his way than the average guy.”
It’s been a tough year for Lopez so far, who was forced to “rebrand” after her tour failed to sell tickets. According to TicketMaster’s website, Lopez has cancelled a series of concerts following poor ticket sales in the US and will no longer stop in Nashville, New Orleans, Raleigh, Atlanta, Houston, Cleveland and Tampa.

Last month, the name of the tour was changed from This Is Me … Now to This Is Me … Live | The Greatest Hits.
“The latest rebrand suggests a pivot from a tour focusing on the new album’s songs to one spanning her discography, a move that may entice listeners who didn’t connect with her latest material,” reported Page Six.
A source added that the tour would “convey the Jennifer Lopez live experience” and was not created solely for the music from her latest album. It is, however, a “celebration which includes the new album.”
