JENNIFER Aniston and Justin Theroux have stepped out in public together for the first time in 2014, but wait, there are also claims she might be pregnant ... again.

BY THE look of that carefully placed handbag, Jennifer Aniston could have a bump to hide.

While the 45-year-old actress has been plagued by pregnancy rumours for years, she was spotted on two consecutive days in New York wrapped up in a warm coat, with her black purse delicately placed over her stomach.

She was spotted emerging from a lunch at Barney’s with fiance Justin Theroux on Monday in a navy coat, with a bag at a fuller-looking waist.

Then on Tuesday the actress was seen out and about in Manhattan, still wrapped up in black, clutching the same handbag close to her body.

Aniston has been laying low in recent months, and hadn’t been seen with Theroux in public since December, which had sparked rumours of problems in their relationship.

But her low profile could perhaps be for other, happier, reasons. She and Theroux did attend two pre-Oscar bashes together just over a week ago in Los Angeles.

Admittedly, if Aniston had a baby for each time she was rumoured to be pregnant, she could have filled the cast of the Broadway production of Annie tens of times over by now.

Last August she was forced to refute baby rumours yet again, saying she’s just gained “a couple of pounds.”

She said during an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O Show, “It does feel like they’ve exhausted the question, and also the speculation. It’s all been pretty much exhausted,” Aniston told the show’s hosts. “Why not just wait until we actually get to have the fun of announcing something?”

We can’t bring ourselves to ask Aniston’s rep again about a pregnancy, so time will tell.

And hopefully Jen will get to have the fun of making her long-anticipated announcement.
