On Tuesday, the actress posted a photo to Twitter in honour of her son’s birthday, but the real scene stealer was her wedding band.

“Moses Bruce Paltrow Martin turns 8 today. We love you!” Paltrow captioned along with a black and white snap of her hugging her boy.

After 10 years of marriage, Paltrow, 41, and Martin, 37, announced their split via a post on the actress’ website, Goop, on March 25.

“We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate,” read the joint statement.

Reports have since surfaced that the pair had an “open” relationship and that both had dalliances with other people.

Sources tell Page Six the Coldplay frontman was involved with a Saturday Night Live assistant and Paltrow had been linked Miami billionaire Jeff Soffer and entertainment lawyer Kevin Yorn.

Paltrow, Soffer and Yorn have all denied the rumours.
