Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow bought a $14 million home in Malibu earlier this month
EARLIER this month Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin bought a $14 million house. But is the thome actually Martin’s new bachelor pad after their ‘conscious uncoupling’?
24 HOURS after Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced their separation, the public is already speculating how the couple will handle the impending divorce — specifically, who will live where.
Earlier this month, Paltrow, 41, and Martin, 37, purchased a Malibu, California, property worth $14 million.
The John Lautner-designed home, built in 1972, rests on an acre of land surrounded by lush jungle gardens.
At 3,650 square feet, the home includes three bedroom suites, a chef’s kitchen and a media room, while outer buildings contain yoga and art studios, a full-size tennis court, a pool, an outdoor master steam room and rain shower.
The property also has a private cove for boats to drop anchor.
TMZ suspects the home, which they label “masculine,” will become Martin’s post-divorce bachelor pad.
Like his ex, Martin is a regular practitioner of yoga and a devout vegan, indicating this home set amid nature would be the perfect place for him to reside as he recovers from his crumbling 10-year marriage to Paltrow.
Paltrow and Martin announced their split in a post titled “Conscious Uncoupling” on Paltrow’s website, Goop.
