Among her many posts on her Instagram account, one includes a picture of herself and her husband Peter FitzSimons at their wedding from some 32 years ago.

The fresh haircut follows Bruce Lehrmann lodging an appeal to the Full Court of the Federal Court in response to the defamation lawsuit he lost to Ms Wilkinson and Network 10.

He has spelled out four grounds of appeal, including his argument that Justice Lee’s findings relating to the defence of “justification” were outside the pleadings of both Ms Wilkinson and Network 10.

As well, he argued that Justice Lee did not apply the “Briginshaw” principle in making his findings.

According to the “Briginshaw” principle, in civil cases involving serious allegations, courts are required to make findings at a higher standard.

Justice Lee found on the balance of probabilities Mr Lehrmann sexually assaulted Ms Higgins inside Parliament House on the morning of March 23, 2019.

Mr Lehrmann continues to deny the allegation.
