Chrissy Teigen sparks divide over innocent bath photo

The 36-year-old shared a sweet snap of her alongside her two children — but there was one detail that had some fans seeing red.

Chrissy Teigen is in the middle of a watery war of words after posting a picture of herself taking a bath with her two young children.

In the Instagram snap, the model mum flashes a big smile as she sits in the tub with 5-year-old daughter Luna and 3-year-old son Miles bathing behind her.

Soapy bubbles fill the tub, and cover Chrissy’s chest, The Sun reported.

The 36-year-old captioned the photo: “not pictured: endless bickering” between her kids.

“Endless bickering” could also apply to the comments section, where the debate raged over whether Chrissy’s kid-friendly bath was appropriate or not.

One offended poster said: “Nope! Not appropriate in front of your son!”

Others questioned why she would make the photo public at all, with comments like: “Some aspects of your life you should keep to yourself, Chrissy,” and “Not everything is for the world to see. Smh.”

And one person kept their comment simple: “Whoa! TMI.”

But for every negative comment, there was an overwhelming amount of support for the actress and her family.

“Being naked isn’t sexual unless you do something sexual while naked,” one person commented. “If you think that boy is gonna look at his mum’s naked body and think sexual thoughts then that says more about your depravity than it does anything else. The naked body is natural. Not everything is about sex.”

Another added: “Haters gonna be after you for this pic! Which makes me wonder that they are the problem. I see this and all I see is love and the fond memories and bonding you have with your kids.”

While one simply said: “Photos of real life! Love it.”

Chrissy has found herself in the middle of many controversies lately.

In November, she was slammed for hosting a fancy dinner party with a Squid Game theme for her wealthy celebrity friends.

But the source material for the evening is the polar opposite.

The Netflix hit series centres around a group of poor, desperate “contestants” who play twisted games and risk their lives in order to better themselves.

Chrissy’s version was a lot more lighthearted, as she explained on Instagram: “What an absolutely epic night. My dream came true of watching my friends fight to the death!

“Dunk tank, musical chairs, hide and seek followed by a very riveting final game of pin the tail on the donkey.”

The irony of Chrissy and her well-off friends playing kids games for glamorous prizes while the poorer Squid Game characters faced death was not lost on Instagram users.

One person asked: “Why do rich people always miss the whole entire point?”

Another stated: “I wish to be as ignorant as Chrissy Teigen hosting a Squid Game party with her rich LA friends.”

Earlier this year, John Legend’s wife was hit with bullying accusations, after she was accused of tormenting Courtney Stodden, Lindsay Lohan, Farrah Abraham and more young women in Hollywood.

The backlash began after Courtney – who is nonbinary and prefers “they” pronouns – alleged in an interview that Chrissy would send horrific tweets and DMs.

The blonde beauty alleged Chrissy sent them a series of DMs with comments allegedly including to encourage Courtney to commit suicide.

The bullying tweets from Chrissy are from 2011 and 2012 – when Courtney was still a teen.

Fans also dug up tweets of the mum of two “bullying” Lindsay Lohan and Teen Mum OG alum Farrah and other famous women over the years.

After also being dropped from various TV projects, Chrissy apologised for her comments and took a social media break – which she has since come back from.

The bullying accusations are also being blamed for her latest cookbook bombing.

Her third recipe book, Cravings: All Together, which came out on October 26, severely underperformed.

A source exclusively told The Sun that “the numbers so far have been nowhere near her sales for the first two books.

“It’s been by far her lowest performing launch which has been a hard pill for her to swallow.

“But to be honest, she’s also relieved it at least sold a solid enough amount after all the backlash she got.”

“It could’ve been worse but it was low enough for her publishers to also be disappointed,” the insider added.”
