A big Aussie star has been spotted returning to Sydney just after her ex was spotted with another Aussie actor in Bondi.

Aussie actor Toni Collette has been spotted sneaking back into Sydney with a low-key celebrity look.

If there’s one thing celebrities like to do, it is wear a hat at the airport, and Collette was seen rocking an all-black tracksuit, white sneakers and a black cap as she exited bustling Sydney Airport.

The acclaimed actor looked gorgeous and fresh-faced as she returned home from filming an upcoming Clint Eastwood project in America.

Her arrival back in Sydney comes just after her ex-husband, musician David Galafassi, was seen moving on from their divorce and having quite the kissing session with another well-known actor, Claudia Karvan, at the public location of Bondi Beach.

In photos that looked like a scene from Home and Away, the two were seen having a surf, a kiss, and some fun in the sun among fellow beachgoers.

The pairing was surprising mainly because it exposed how small Australia’s famous person scene is.

Karvan and Collette are in a tiny pool of female acclaimed Aussie actors with long and successful careers. and now they’ve dated the same man.

Before Karvan was spotted kissing Collet’s ex, her last known relationship was with Jeremy Sparks, which lasted 22 years but ended in 2017.

The exes are parents to Audrey, 22, and Albee, 17, and while they’ve remained doggedly private, Karvan told The ABC that she thinks she navigated her divorce “extremely” well.

“It wasn’t easy, but we all get on very well,” she confessed.

Collette, 51, only announced her divorce from her husband of nearly two decades in late 2022, and the news was slightly shocking because the pair had only recently relocated back to Sydney from Los Angeles in 2019 with their two kids, Sage, 14, Arlo, 11.

The pair only decided to announce their divorce after Galafassi was spotted kissing another woman at another beach.

Galafassi was seen kissing Shannon Egan in the surf at Manly and after those photos came out the former couple did the usual celebrity thing, took to Instagram, and posted a joint statement to announce the end of their relationship.

It was the usual famous person’s response to divorce, where the statement reads like something you’d imagine someone would say in group therapy at a Bryon Bay retreat that costs thousands a night.

The couple explained they were announcing their divorce with “grace” and “gratitude.”

‘We’re united in our decision and part with continuing respect and care for each other,” the post read.

The statement promised they’d continue to “thrive” as a family but just in a slightly different shape, and then they thanked everyone for giving them space to transition their relationship peacefully.
