“You don’t understand how huge this is...” Beyonce fans are losing their minds as the megastar joined Taylor Swift for an incredibly rare joint outing.

As if Taylor Swift’s popularity couldn’t get any greater, the pop star had the backing of Beyonce for her latest career milestone - marking an incredibly rare joint outing for the industry heavyweights.

Beyonce’s fans have lost their minds over the superstar’s unlikely appearance at the premiere of Swift’s Eras Tour concert film at The Grove in Los Angeles Wednesday night.

The Break My Soul singer, the most decorated Grammy winner of all time, is known to be selective about events she attends, having skipped the celebrity-pinnacle Met Gala a whopping seven years in a row.

Suffice to say, the Beyhive is in disbelief at her decision to step out for Swift’s big moment:

Some even joked that Beyonce likely won’t even attend her own concert film premiere, which is based on her blockbuster Renaissance tour and is due to hit theatres in December:

Swift honoured Beyonce on Instagram shortly after the premiere in a gushing tribute to the veteran performer.

“I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without Beyonce’s influence,” Swift began, alongside a video of the pair eating popcorn in the front row of the cinema.

She continued: “The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was an actual fairytale.”

It comes as Swift, 33, was earlier reported to be skipping her premiere due to security risks. Still, more than 2000 fans gathered at the movie’s debut.

Imagine their elation when Swift ended up making her surprise grand entry, wearing a jaw-dropping strapless blue gown designed by Oscar de la Renta.

Not only did Swift shun security concerns to show up for her fans, but she was seen posing for photos with every single one of her diehard supporters in this clip going viral on X:

Fans also took to social media in droves to share their photos during the extremely rare encounter with Swift, who could repeatedly be heard in videos saying, “Thank you so much for coming!”:

A notable absentee at the event was Swift’s rumoured boyfriend, NFL player Travis Kelce.

While the multi Grammy winner has attended two of his Kansas City Chiefs games in recent weeks, the 34-year-old tight end was not present for the film premiere, which would’ve inevitably overshadowed the singer’s individual achievement.

Pre-sale tickets for Swift’s concert movie managed to hit a record $100 million worldwide last week, making it the best-selling feature-lengthy concert film in history, dethroning Justin Bieber: Never Say Never which made $99 million and was released in 2011.

The film, released in Australian theatres on Friday, was shot during her six sold-out shows at SoFi Stadium in California as part of her blockbuster Eras Tour, which stopped in cities across North America from March until August.

The megastar is set to hit the road again with the headline-making tour next week, kicking off in Florida on October 18 before heading to South America in November.

She’ll pick up again in February, visiting Tokyo, Australia (Sydney and Melbourne), Singapore and then countries across Europe.
