Selena Gomez has left fans stunned by posting a sexy swimsuit photo with her friend Nicola Peltz-Beckham after comments she made about a “throuple”.

Gomez, 30, posted a dump of photos on her Instagram, including a photo of her and Nicola enjoying a day by the pool.

It was an absolute Selena lovefest in the comments.

“Love seeing you smile!” One wrote.

The pics were a surprising insight into Selena’s personal life. She often reserves Instagram as a place to promote her latest work or beauty products, but she didn’t hold back with these candid snaps.

Nicola also posted a photo of Selena, Brooklyn Beckham, and herself on her own gram and captioned it.

Nicola Peltz-Beckham is famously married to Brooklyn Beckham. Yes, he is the son of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham and the trio haven’t been shy about their new friendship.

Nicola quickly confirmed Selena’s caption, telling Cosmopolitan, “We’re like, ‘Yeah, we are a throuple.’ We are all three best friends.”

Selena went on a bit of a posting spree on the weekend and posted a series of snaps with her celebrating the 4th of July with her long-time best mate, Taylor Swift.

The two have been best friends for years and met when they were both dating one of the Jonas Brothers.

Selena was dating Nick Jonas and Taylor was dating Joe Jonas. The two have praised each other publicly for years, and when Selena posted the snaps of her and Taylor, she added a sweet caption to celebrate their friendship.

“Sometimes you need to be around empowering, kind and kick-ass gals. I needed that,” she wrote.

Selena’s personal snaps come after she’s had a rough start to the year.

In February this year, she addressed hate she’d received about her body changing after some candid photos of her in a swimsuit went viral on the internet.

She looked more curvy than usual and the comments were cruel, eventually, she responded to the hate and explained that her weight gain was due to a medication she takes to help manage the disease lupus.

“When I’m taking it, I tend to hold water weight, and that happens very normally. When I’m off it, I tend to kind of lose weight,” she explained.

She also reminded people that when they are commenting on people’s changing bodies, they don’t always know the “real story.”

She added that she isn’t a “model” and “never will be,” but told people that they shouldn’t be striving for body perfection because they are already “beautiful and wonderful.”
