Selena Gomez has posted a sexy swimsuit photo after hitting back at trolls for cruelly body-shaming her.

Gomez, 30, has spent the last few months in Europe filming an upcoming project, and she’s finally shared some photos online.

She even shared a photo of herself in a black swimsuit on a boat, and she looked like she was living her absolute best life.

The swimwear photo is fabulous because earlier this year, Gomez called out trolls who were shaming her for gaining weight.

In February this year, she addressed the hate she’d received about her body changing after some candid photos of her in a swimsuit went viral on the internet.

She looked more curvy then usual and the comments were cruel, eventually she responded to the hate and explained that her weight gain was due to a medication she takes to help manage the disease lupus.

“When I’m taking it, I tend to hold water weight, and that happens very normally. When I’m off it, I tend to kind of lose weight,” she explained.

She also reminded people that when they are commenting on people’s changing bodies, they don’t always know the “real story.”

She added that she isn’t a “model” and “never will be,” but told people that they shouldn’t be striving for body perfection because they are already “beautiful and wonderful.”

Gomez has over 400 million followers on Instagram and has been open about how she’s struggled to feel good about herself in the public eye.

Sure, when she posted a make-up-free selfie this year, it became the fastest photo to reach 1 million likes, but she’s also been to therapy because of the toll being so famous has taken on her.

In 2015 Us Weekly reported that she said: “I’d land at the airport, and people would yell would yell out, ‘You’re fat!’ It was awful.”

The singer explained that she ended up seeking help to deal with it.

“I’ve been working in therapy; even if I did gain weight, I’m fine,” she said.
