Rebel Wilson’s celeb pals praise her ‘gorgeous’ new photo shoot

Rebel Wilson’s celebrity friends are stunned with the star’s transformation, filling her comments section with love and adoration.

Rebel Wilson has not been shy in showing off her incredible weight loss recently, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed by her famous friends.

With the Aussie star claiming 2020 as her “year of health”, she has continued to demonstrate just how hard she has been working, with fantastic results.

Posting a series of glamour shots to Instagram, Wilson, 40, looked radiant in an emerald green Gucci dress.

As expected, Wilson’s famous friends quickly filled up the comments section with supportive words.

“Sooooo pretty Rebs xoxo,” fellow Aussie star Lucy Durack said.

Close friend Hugh Sheridan let the emojis do the talking for him, posting smiley faces, a ‘100’ emoji and of course, the trusty ‘fire’.

Pitch Perfect co-star Skylar Austin left a simple yet effective comment: “Gorgeous.”

“Stunning,” wrote professional tennis player Jelena Dokic, along with the hands-praising and love-heart eyes emojis.

On Tuesday, she was pictured strolling around Los Angeles in activewear, where her recent weight loss could clearly be seen.

Last month, Rebel credited her 20kg weight loss in part to the Mayr Method, visiting the Austrian wellness centre ViaMayr last year.

The method sees Wilson eating high alkaline whole foods at a slow pace, with a chew count of 30 per mouthful.

Wilson has also kept her fans in the loop with her extensive workout plan put together by pal and personal trainer Jono Castano Acero.

This has been Rebel’s “year of health.”

At the start of the New Year, she made an incredibly public New Year’s resolution to start being healthy and embark on a fitness journey.

She wrote on Instagram: “OK so for me 2020 is going to be called ‘The Year of Health’.

“So I put on the athleisure and went out for a walk, deliberately hydrating on the couch right now and trying to avoid the sugar and junk food, which is going to be hard after the holidays I’ve just had but I’m going to do it!

“Who’s with me in making some positive changes this year?”

Rebel’s latest stunning photoshoot comes as her close friend and regular workout buddy Hugh Sheridan announced overnight that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

The actor, who is currently in hotel quarantine in Sydney after flying in from the US two weeks ago, revealed in a lengthy Instagram post that he has the virus.
