Beloved 90s sitcom star Helen Hunt looks unrecognisable in date-night selfie with boyfriend

A beloved actress, who won four Emmys for her role in the hit sitcom Mad About You, looks unrecognisable in a selfie with her boyfriend.

Beloved sitcom star Helen Hunt looked unrecognisable while all rugged up in a date-night selfie shared on Instagram.

The Mad About You star appeared fresh-faced as she braved the cold with her actor boyfriend Jeffrey Nordling after visiting the iconic Wrigley Field in Chicago – the home of the Chicago Cubs baseball team.

“Tonight I saw @officialwrigleyfield (just from the outside) for the first time. My God. What a beautiful place” the 61-year-old gushed on Instagram alongside her loved-up selfie.

The visit coincides with the start of the 2025 Major League Baseball season, and Hunt – who is a fan of the LA Dodgers – couldn’t be more excited.

“In just a few hours the Chicago @cubs will play my @dodgers in Tokyo in the first game of the 2025 season,” she added. “Let’s go Dodgers. But my goodness the Cubs are epic and this stadium is a work of art.”

Hunt and Nordling – who both starred in the 1988 TV movie Shooter – are massive baseball fans with the duo regularly attending games together.

For Nordling’s 63rd birthday earlier this month, Hunt shared a photo of them at yet another baseball game with her rocking her trusty LA Dodgers cap, while he sported merch from his team, the New York Mets.

Hunt, who was first romantically linked to the actor in 2022, kept her caption simple and sweet, writing, “Happy Birthday Darling."’

The sitcom star previously dated film producer Matthew Carnahan for 16 years before their split in 2017. They share one daughter Makena, 20.

Prior to that, Hunt was briefly married to actor and comedian Hank Azaria from 1999 to 2000.

Nordling was also previously married to actress Francia Dimase, who is mother of his three daughters, Eloise, Miranda and Iris.

Hunt charmed audiences in Mad About You, playing Paul Reiser’s on-screen wife Jamie Buchman from 1992 to 1999, which saw her win four consecutive Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy.

The actress won four Emmys for her role as Jamie Buchman in the sitcom.

She also proved her acting chops on the big screen, starring in the 1997 rom-com As Good As It Gets opposite Jack Nicholson.

Both stars went on to win Best Actor and Best Actress at the 1998 Oscars for their roles in the movie.

As for Nordling, he most recently starred in the smash-hit series Big Little Lies alongside Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern.

On the show, he played high-powered executive Gordon Klein, the husband of Dern’s character Renata who gets arrested for committing fraud behind her back.
