Kate Ritchie and Isla Fisher have adorable Home And Away reunion

The radio star gave fans a rare glimpse of her personal life posting a selfie with a former co-star from her acting days.

It has been two decades since they starred on Home And Away together as teenagers, but Kate Ritchie and Isla Fisher are still really close friends.

The pair reunited this week at Isla’s birthday party in Sydney, posting a selfie to Instagram that delighted their fans.

Kate, 42, co-host of a popular radio drivetime show on Nova FM, wrote in the caption, “Still making me giggle like a naughty teenager after all these years … Thank you, Isla.”

“You are one of the best,” she added, alongside cake and love heart emojis.

The photo thrilled fans.

“How great is it seeing these beautiful ladies together. Had major H& Aflashbacks,” wrote one fan.

“Sally and Shannon reunited!!” wrote another, referencing their character’s names from the long-running show.

“Miss you two from home and away taaaake me back! Love H&A but it’s just not the same!” said another.

Isla kickstarted her acting career when she starred on Home And Away from 1994 to 1997, before making the move to America where she has become an in-demand Hollywood actress.

She got her big break in 2005 when she starred in the romantic comedy Wedding Crashers, alongside Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn and has since gone starred in Confessions of a Shopaholic, Now You See Me and Keeping Up With The Joneses.

Kate was just eight-years-old when she first appeared on the soap in 1987 and continued to play the role of Sally until 2008.

Isla celebrated her 45th birthday this week.

She and comedian husband Sacha Baron Cohen spent the day with friends at an art gallery in the Sydney suburb of Balmain.

Posting to Instagram on Wednesday, Isla shared gorgeous photos of herself with her husband.

“45th Birthday today,” she captioned the photos.

Compliment were quick to come flooding in from fans.

“Happy Birthday! You are [fire emojis] !! 45 looks great on you!” one wrote.

“How is Shannon from Home And Away 45? This makes me feel old,” wrote another.

“It’s my 26th tomorrow I wish I would look as good as you when I’m 40,” a third added.
