Actor Isla Fisher has long left Summer Bay and Australia but the Hollywood A-lister retains the Sydney apartment she bought when she was aged just 20, playing troubled teen Shannon Reed on Home And Away.

Her long-departed Woollahra apartment appeared on the rental market this month, likely to yield some $650 a week. Yet it has attracted little attention.

Fisher bought the apartment for $171,500 in 1995, making her one of the longest owners in the 1930s Wiltshire Towers block.

The two-bedder has been recently renovated, with a new kitchen and bathroom with tub.

1st City Minogue + Doak Woollahra agent Jasmin Markham is marketing the Wallis St rental property. The last two-bedroom, one bathroom apartment without a car space sold in the block fetched $875,000.

Fisher and her actor husband Sacha Baron Cohen, who she wed in 2010, and their three children call the Hollywood Hills home. They own a seven-bedroom, seven-bathroom home in Laurel Canyon, an affluent suburb where fellow actor George Clooney and heiress Paris Hilton also have homes.

Fisher and Baron Cohen bought there after growing tired seeing tourists and the paparazzi parked outside their former home closer to town. The home also has a gym, theatre and pool.

Fisher said earlier this year she has “a secret fantasy” of moving to Byron Bay — following in the celebrity footsteps of Thor starChris Hemsworth.

Fisher had representatives scheduled to inspect the now-sold Broken Head property that was recently rented by Bourne Identity star Matt Damon.

Fisher and Baron Cohen are expected to holiday in Australia over Christmas.

“I have this secret fantasy of slowing down, moving to Byron Bay, getting off the grid and sitting on the sand with a Vegemite sandwich,” Fisher has said.
