Jessica Rowe has stepped out with her teenage daughters
Jessica Rowe has walked the pink carpet with her two teenage daughters and the family resemblance is striking.
Jessica Rowe and her teenage daughters turned up to the Australian premiere of the Barbie movie as pink personified. Sadly, it seems they left Rowe’s husband and their dad, respected newsreader Peter Overton, at home.
Rowe, 53, was accompanied by her two teen daughters to the pink carpet. Allegra, 16 and Giselle, 14, wore pink and fabulous outfits. Allegra paid homage by wearing a baby pink dress, and Giselle went for a pink crop top and short combination.
Rowe wasn’t blending into the background either, and she went all out. She wore a see-through pink mesh shirt, a pink skirt, and a pink crop top, and the trio were spotted happily posing for snaps on the red carpet.
Naturally Rowe took to Instagram to celebrate the matching pink moment.
“I’m a Barbie mum, with my Barbie teenagers!” She proclaimed.
The television star has recently been a proud mum on social media, sharing that Allegra has been signed as a model to Priscilla’s Models.
Rowe’s been excitedly sharing her eldest daughter’s professional headshots on Instagram and calling herself a “mumanger.”
Get it? Mum combined with manager.
Rowe’s taking her new title seriously and even filmed a TikTok of Allegra at her first big photo shoot.
“I’m so proud just quietly!” Rowe gushed loudly to her followers.
Rowe filmed Allegra and all the behind scenes of the shoot. So, everything from the hair and make-up to the styling, and she even tried offering her daughter some tips while she was being photographed.
“Let’s have some smiles, please,” she called out.
The former Studio 10 star has been incredibly open about her life. She constantly posts on Instagram, documents her adventures on TikTok, and shares her misadventures cooking as a self-proclaimed “crap” housewife.
She’s very open about the reality of parenting, the highs, lows and absolute mishaps. In fact, Rowe recently told Women’s Day that despite the fact she was following her daughter around on a fashion set, she’s realised that being a mum is really about stepping back.
“I’m learning, it is a series of letting goes,” she said. “Each stage from when they’re born; crawling, taking their first steps, going to daycare, going to school, having sleepovers, going to high school, all these things, travelling, leaving home … it’s all this series of letting goes.”
