Jackie ‘O’ Henderson hits out at news website over ‘nip slip’ photos

The radio presenter has lashed out at a news website for publishing photos of her “nip slip” at the ACRAs – as she revealed what really happened.

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has hit out at a news website for publishing photos of her alongside a story which claimed she “flashed a nipple”.

The Dail Mail ran photos of the radio presenter arriving at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) in Sydney on Saturday, which the publication edited by using a black square to cover her chest, reporting she suffered an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction.

The Mail claimed they ran the censor on the photo to “protect her modesty.”

However, Jackie took to The Kyle and Jackie O Show Monday morning to accuse the website of using the black square to make it look like she suffered a nip slip, when it wasn’t actually possible.

“I know for a fact they did not get a shot of my boob, and so they’ve just put a black square over it to make it look that way,” Jackie said on-air.

“The reason I know this is because my boobs are so big at the moment, I had to use booby tape to try to separate them a bit.

“I look ridiculous … [but] there was no boob. They were out, I must admit. But there was no nipple. That was not on display.”

The Mail has since doubled down on its story, writing it “obtained the uncensored pictures from a paparazzi agency, and can confirm her nipple was visible in several frames”.

Meanwhile, Jackie and her long-time co-host Kyle Sandilands were inducted into the Commercial Radio Hall of Fame at the 33rd annual event.

Their KIIS FM show also won the coveted Best On-Air Team award in the FM category, holding the record for the most ever wins in that category.

In her acceptance speech, Jackie thanked her ex-husband and former radio co-host ‘Ugly’ Phil O’Neil, for “the opportunities that you’ve given me and for showing me the passion and the need for hard work in radio”.

She also paid tribute to her daughter, Kitty, who was in the audience, saying: “She never made mummy feel guilty for not being there in the mornings for school drop off … She’s so cool and patient and kind.”

And finally, she thanked Kyle, her co-host of 22 years, saying: “He is my ride or die. I know what you’re gonna say before you even say it.

“We laugh, we cry … But you’ve always supported me and I am just so grateful that you have been the one by my side throughout this. If you ride off a cliff, I’ll ride off it with you.”

Sandilands, for his part, went a little rogue, declaring his love for Jackie and fiancee Tegan Kynaston before launching an almighty rant at his bosses.

“I’ve got no-one to thank,” Sandilands began. “No-one else in management, or anyone that I’ve ever met in the management of any of the companies, will I thank. Thank you very much. Because I had to fight against you [bosses] and it takes so long for you to realise I know better than all of you.”
