Hamish and Zoe Foster Blake’s Sydney home is absolutely wild inside

Hamish Blake and Zoe Foster Blake have completely revamped their Sydney home since buying it in 2020 - and the results are jaw-dropping.

Gold Logie-winner Hamish Blake and his wife Zoe Foster Blake have thrown open the doors of their Sydney home for the latest issue of Vogue Living, on sale tomorrow – and it’s an eye-popping spectacle.

The couple’s home, in the exclusive suburb of Vaucluse in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, is a rich explosion of colours and patterns.

Foster-Blake told Vogue Living that she was keen to strike a balance so that the extravagantly decorated home never became “too much.”

“For me, it’s about how far can you push a room to delight the eyes without it feeling overstimulating — there’s a fine balance between going nuts with wallpaper, art and rugs and it feeling chaotic, like you don’t know where to look,” she said of the home she worked alongside YSG’s Yasmine Ghoniem to design.

“Yas and I are both creatives, and get excited easily. We had to work together to go, ‘All right, how do we make this house rad without it being too much?’”

Foster Blake last year sold her controlling stake in the skincare range she founded for around $89m, and it’s clear some serious money went into kitting out the couple’s home.

They bought the mansion for just under $9m in December 2020, making the move from Melbourne to start a new life in Sydney with their two young children.

Earlier this year they added to their property portfolio, spending more than $4m on a stunning home retreat in Jamberoo, 90 minutes south of Sydney.

While Zoe Foster Blake may be a multi-millionaire skincare mogul nowadays, her husband recently revealed that reports of a recent massive payday for the couple were greatly exaggerated.

The LEGO Masters host featured in a celebrity version of Gogglebox Australia earlier this year – and was shocked by a media report that claimed he and his wife were paid $500,000 to star in the episode.

“That [report] blew me away,” he told Kyle and Jackie O in April.

“[We were paid] $5000. Five, zero, zero zero.

“Everyone gets the same thing. There was never any discussion of money.”
