Catte Sadler has revealed why she went under the knife

A star has revealed what prompted them to go under the knife and get a full facelift before they even hit fifty.

Influencer and host Catt Sadler has revealed she got a facelift, neck lift and eye lift and why she has absolutely no regrets.

Catt, 48, is a former television host for Network E and a mum of two. She now keeps busy hosting a podcast and posting content online for her fans to enjoy.

Usually, famous people tend to keep quiet about the cosmetic procedures they undergo to look younger, but Catt has done the opposite.

Catt said she decided to go under the knife because she didn’t like the “jowly sagginess” she had to see when she looked in the mirror.

Catt told Glamourthat it was something she did purely for herself and didn’t come from a place of insecurity or an attempt to stay relevant.

“It’s not like I did it because I can’t get a job. It is not that I did it because I want my boyfriend to think I look 35. None of that was a consideration. It was more about looking in the mirror and feeling good. How I feel,” she said.

She also clarified that she didn’t decide to have her whole face operated on because she felt any outside pressure.

“I’m kind of past needing the endorsement of others to conduct my life. I’m telling you, that’s one of the better parts of the ageing process, is you do know yourself more, and you do make choices for yourself and what’s right for you without seeking the approval of everybody else,” she said.

She also took to Instagram to share her cosmetic story and show off the results and fans were thrilled by how honest she was.

“Her face, her money, her wish. Who cares what other people think. She looks great,” someone commented.

“Finally, an actor being honest about plastic surgery,” someone added.

“Love her honesty! Also she looks beautiful now and then,” another complimented.

Sadler’s open facelift admission comes after icon Jane Fonda revealed that she’d had one, but it wasn’t something she was “proud” of.

Fonda told Vogue, “I had a facelift, and I stopped because I don’t want to look distorted.”

However, she also revealed that, in retrospect, she wasn’t thrilled with her cosmetic choice.

“I’m not proud of the fact that I had [one]. ... I don’t know if I had it to do over if I would do it. But I did it. I admit it, and then I just say, ‘OK, you can get addicted. Don’t keep doing it.”

She did reveal that now she tries more natural things to feel and look beautiful.

“I don’t spend a lot of money on face creams or anything like that, but I stay moisturised, I sleep, I move, I stay out of the sun, and I have good friends who make me laugh. Laughter is a good thing too.”
