Camila Cabello has debuted a new look ahead of her upcoming music
A very famous pop star is on the verge of launching new music and she’s debuted a whole new look.
Singer Camila Cabello has debuted a new look ahead of the release of her upcoming music, and she’s looking borderline unrecognisable as a blonde.
Cabello, 26, is known for her famous brunette locks, but she’s ditched them for a new bleached blonde vibe, and she’s looking incredible.
The singer has been heavily hinting at a musical comeback after not releasing any new bangers since 2022, and to tease her new tunes, she’s deleted all her old Instagram posts from when she was brunette and written cryptic Instagram captions like “it’s time” and “in love, in lust, in confusion’.
Her style also seems to have shifted slightly.
She’s always been a fashion girl, but she’s leaning into a grungier look and is wearing the baggy pants and tiny tops that have become the Generation Z uniform.
The blonde hair has caused a big stir online, with fans excited about the fact she’s gone for a whole new vibe.
One fan called it a power move, another claimed it was a Hannah Montana move, and one claimed the whole look was “ate”.
Similarly, another fan said the hair was proof she had officially entered her “hot girl” era and someone else said the whole look was ultimately “ate”.
Naturally, not everyone was a fan.
One fan claimed that she looked “so bad” another said she looked “awful” and was questioning what was happening to the pop singer.
Cabello became famous by being one-fifth of the girl band Fifth Harmony and then launching her successful solo career, she’s also gone viral multiple times because of her on/off relationship with fellow singer Shawn Mendes.
Mendes famously dated Cabello in 2019. They’d been friends for years but then finally confirmed they were a couple.
In the documentary Wonder about Mendes, the singer even said that Cabello inspired every song he’d written.
“My song comes on the radio or something and I’m like, ‘Everything’s about you. They’re all, they have always been about you. She goes, ‘What do you mean?’ Like, ‘They’re all about you. Like every song I’ve ever wrote’.”
Sadly, despite their sweet love story, the two broke things off in 2021 and released a joint statement that said their relationship was over, but their love for each other as humans was “stronger than ever”.
Later, in an Instagram live, Mendes shared the break-up was tough because he’d lost the person he used to constantly rely on.
“You don’t realise when you’re breaking up with someone … you think it’s the right thing to do, you don’t realise all this that comes after it like, who do I call when I’m, like, in a panic attack? Who do I call when I’m, like, on the edge? I think that’s the reality that kind of hit me. It is like, ‘Oh, I’m on my own now’.”
Finally, in April 2023, the former couple were spotted kissing at the music festival Coachella, and, while they never commented on their reconnection, they haven’t been spotted hanging out much since. So, that doesn’t seem to have stuck.
