Bryan Cranston looks totally unrecognisable at LA softball game
He’s a multi-award-winning Hollywood megastar – but fans could be forgiven for failing to recognise him during his latest outing.
Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston was almost unrecognisable as he prepared to bat during a celebrity softball game at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on the weekend.
Best known for playing a bald Walter White in the hit TV series, the actor was seen sporting long locks and a bushy beard as he took to the field, The Sun reports.
While batting, he also applied two stick-on moustaches under his eyes at the Major League Baseball All-Star’s match.
Cranston, 66, also had a go at pitching during the charity game which resulted in a strike out, seeing him leave the field.
He was filmed trying to oppose the decision, shouting at the umpire: “You’re stealing the game from us,” before his team were eventually announced as the losers.
Cranston reprised his role as White in the final series of Netflix’s Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad prequel.
While it took him some time to earn mainstream success, Cranston’s TV career has spanned over 35 years, with appearances in TV shows such as Murder, She Wrote, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Sabrina The Teenage Witch.
Before his lead role in Breaking Bad, the actor’s most well-known role was as dad Hal in Malcolm In The Middle from 2000 until 2006.
He has also had small parts in some huge movies, such as Saving Private Ryan, Drive and Little Miss Sunshine.
He also starred in Last Flag Flying, a comedy-drama telling the story of three Vietnam vets, with the A-list trio of leads completed by Steve Carrell and Laurence Fishburne.
