Bridgerton star spotted with boyfriend 14 years her junior

Bridgerton and Derry Girls star Nicola Coughlan has been spotted in London with her much younger – and taller – boyfriend.

Irish Actress Nicola Coughlan was spotted this week walking arm in arm with her younger – and much taller – boyfriend.

Bridgerton and Derry Girls star Coughlan, 38, looked very happy as she walked the streets of North London with fellow actor Jake Dunn, 24.

Snappers reported they browsed in shops, stopped by a florist and visited an Irish pub.

The low-key couple have been dating since at least August last year, when they were spotted together at a London music festival, and were believed to be set up by a mutual friend, fellow actor Louisa Harland.

Harland, 31, starred as Orla alongside Coughlan in the much-loved Irish comedy series Derry Girls, which ran for three seasons.

Dunn is best known for his role in the Disney+ series Renegade Nell, which was axed after just one season last year.

Coughlan was previously linked to her Bridgerton co-star Luke Newton, however she dismissed the speculation in an interview with Time last year.

“A lot of people really want me to marry Luke,” she admitted.

“We have this gorgeous friendship. We have such a love for one another and this experience that I’ll never have with someone else again.

“Isn’t it gorgeous that a man and woman can have that sort of relationship with one another?”

While Coughlan and Dunn have a 14-year age gap, the actress has in the past made headlines when viewers have learned her real age, thanks to her youthful looks and the fact she played a high school student in Derry Girls when she was already well into her 30s.
