Celebs slam Lauren Sánchez’s racy inauguration outfit: ’Wrong place’
Lauren Sanchez doesn’t seem to have any regrets about wearing a lacy bra as a top to yesterday’s inauguration – despite the backlash.
Lauren Sánchez isn’t here for hate over her controversial inauguration outfit.
The 55-year-old subtly hit back at criticism of her peekaboo lace bra and white pants suit by “liking” supportive Instagram comments on her most recent post.
One of the supportive statements in particular read, “Girl you ate that inaugural look don’t pay attention to no haters.”
The fan went on to mention Sánchez’s fiancé, Jeff Bezos, concluding, “Only opinion that matters is your own and Jeff’s.”
The pilot “liked” another comment reading, “You are truly an inspiration to me and I’m sure to many women.”
While Sánchez has yet to share photos from Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony, she did show off the ethereal gown she wore to the inaugural ball Monday evening.
“That’s a wrap,” she wrote via Instagram.
Kris Jenner commented that the former news anchor looked “stunning,” while Paris Hilton left a heart-eye emoji.
US reality star Bethenny Frankel gushed over Sánchez’s “extreme hotness” during her “magical evening” in a strapless black Dolce and Gabbana dress at Washington, DC’s National Building Museum on Sunday.
Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn was one of the many celebs, however, calling Sánchez out for her polarising ensemble at the inauguration the following day.
“Jeff Bezos’s wife strutting into the presidential inauguration in lingerie with her chesticles hoisted like NASA was launching them into orbit?” the former reality star, 36, wrote via X. “Peak ‘Selling Sunset’ season 2 energy.
“Cute outfit, sweetheart, but wrong place,” she continued.
Former Good Morning America co-host Amy Robach also shaded Sánchez’s “interesting” look on her and T.J. Holmes’ eponymous podcast Monday.
After the former NBC personality, 51, called the outfit “a lot to look at,” she said, “To each their own.”
Sánchez, who got engaged to Bezos, 61, in 2023, has yet to comment directly on the backlash.
