Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon wears daring cut-out dress to fashion show
The Material Girl’s daughter is slowly but surely putting her stamp on the fashion world, turning heads once again with her latest fashion choice.
Madonna’s daughter was far from a Material Girl when she stepped out at the Marc Jacobs show this week because her dress was lacking in material.
Nevertheless, Lourdes Leon made a statement as she rocked a cut-out mini-dress with netted panels to the fashion event on Monday, held at Manhattan’s iconic Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, locally known as the New York Public Library.
The 27-year-old accessorised the daring fishnet dress with large hoop earrings, layered necklaces, bedazzled open-toe heels and a black mini-purse.
Among the many celebrity faces were Nicky Hilton, Cardi B, Natasha Bedingfield, and the fashion guru herself, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Musician Eartheater was also in attendance and posed for photographs with Lourdes.
Madonna’s eldest child has been making her mark on the fashion industry lately.
On Monday, Lourdes was even announced as the face of David Koma’s resort 2025 campaign – the label’s first in its 15-year history.
“Because of the 15-year anniversary, I really wanted to add this personal artistic touch with the appearance of my first muse,” Koma told Women’s Wear Daily of Lourdes.
“For a long time, I’ve been a fan of her beauty and I went to see her perform at The Standard’s cocktail bar, Sweeties, where everything that I thought of her before I met her was even more exciting. She really delivered an amazing kind of art.”
While Lourdes was rubbing shoulders with the fashionable set at this year’s Marc Jacobs event, last year she was denied entry to the designer’s fashion show in Manhattan.
In a TikTok video that went viral, Lourdes was met with security guards who seemingly told her she was too late when she arrived at the Park Avenue Armory venue after the doors closed.
In the clip posted by @mickmicknyc, the “nepo baby” — whom Madonna welcomed in 1996 with then-boyfriend Carlos Leon — walked up to the venue when she was stopped by security.
A male voice in the video explained that Lourdes needed to arrive at the venue by 6pm sharp, which also happened to be the exact time the show was due to kick off.

After deliberating with security, Lourdes was told that the event was “closed.”
The crowd then began chanting “Let her in,” before another bystander asked the security guard, “You don’t know who she is?”
Unfortunately for Lourdes, the security team didn’t budge, forcing her to turn around and head back to the car.
