Cardi B gives birth, welcomes baby boy with Offset

Rapper Cardi B has announced the birth of her second child with her husband, Offset.

Cardi B and husband Offset have announced the birth of their second child together.

Taking to Instagram, the rapper, 28, posted a photo of herself cradling the baby boy in a hospital bed with Offset, 29, by her side, with the caption: “9/4/21.”

The MotorSport collaborators later said they were “overjoyed to finally meet” their son.

“He is already loved so much by family and friends,” they said in a statement to People. “We can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”

Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, also shares daughter Kulture, 3, with Offset.

The Bad and Boujee rapper, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, has another three children from previous relationships: Jordan, 11, Kody, 6, and Kalea, 6.

Cardi announced in July that she was expecting a second child by posting a nude photo of herself covered in white plaster and holding her baby bump.

That same day, she debuted her baby bump at the BET Awards in a cutout bodysuit from Dolce & Gabbana that was covered in beaded sparkles. She went on to take the stage by joining Offset and his group, Migos, for a performance.

Just days before giving birth, Cardi showed moral support for Offset at a Nasdaq event.

The still-expectant mum wore a bright pink sweatsuit and a Gucci belt during the August 31 appearance.

The rappers secretly married in 2017 and briefly separated in 2020 before Cardi withdrew her divorce papers.
