Brooke Boney: life one year on after walking away from Today
Brooke Boney’s life looks very different to what it did a year ago. In 2024, she was waking up in the wee hours of the morning and preparing to beam into Australia’s living rooms as a news presenter and entertainment reporter on the Today show. Now she is beaming into this interview from her dorm room at Oxford University, where she’s pursuing a master’s degree in public policy and preparing for the release of her first book, a memoir.
On this episode of Something To Talk About, Brooke joins Sarrah to talk about what her life has looked like since she left Today – and to unpack some of the surprising revelations in her book, which cover everything from her insights into body image, fertility, fame and the truth about First Nations representation on Australian TV.
Brooke’s memoir All of It is available here, or you can find it at your local bookstore.
