3. Either login or create an account depending on the podcast application
4. Search for the podcast you’re interested in
5. Click on the podcast you want and you can subscribe or follow it, this allows you to keep up to date with new episodes that are released

What is a podcast?

Podcasts are usually original audio productions, but can also be recorded broadcasts of a television or radio program, a lecture, a performance, or other event. They are available on-demand.

Podcasts usually offer each episode in the same file format, so that listeners can enjoy the program the same way each time. 

Do I have to be a subscriber to listen to a podcast?

Some podcasts are available to full digital subscribers only. As a full digital subscriber you have access to Special Access premium podcasts. You can check if you are an eligible full digital subscriber by going to this page. 

How can I listen to a podcast?

There are a number of podcast applications available. You can listen to podcasts through a website or mobile device. It’s best to have an application that is built for podcasts or one of our applications that is podcast enabled on your device. 

How do I play an episode of a podcast

1. Go to your podcast application
2. Find the podcast episode you want to listen to
3. Click the Play button

Tip: Depending on your application, the episode will appear at the bottom of the screen. 

Can I download a podcast?

Yes, you can download a podcast to your library. 

Do I have to pay for podcasts?

Some podcasts are available only to full digital subscribers. 

Accessing content on smart speakers

There are a range of smart speakers available. You can listen to our podcasts by saying the relevant voice command to your speaker. Some are listed below:

Subscribing to podcasts

1. Open your podcast application on your device
2. At the top, search for the podcast name by typing the podcast name into the field.
3. You can subscribe to a podcast in 2 ways:

• If the podcast is at the top of search results, click Subscribe
• Under “Show results,” click the podcast Subscribe.

Tip: To unsubscribe from a podcast, open it and click Subscribed.
