‘Savage’: Taraji P. Henson throws subtle shade at Ryan Seacrest

THE sexual misconduct accusations swirling around Ryan Seacrest was the awkward topic everyone was avoiding on the red carpet — until Taraji P. Henson showed up.

IT WAS the topic everyone was avoiding, but one actress has managed to throw subtle shade at Ryan Seacrest during the Oscars live broadcast.

The E! presenter took up his usual position on the red carpet today, despite pressure for him to step aside over allegations of sexual misconduct.

Recently, Suzie Hardy, who worked with the host as a stylist on E! News, claimed Seacrest groped her and gave her a bear hug wearing only his underwear, among other accusations.

It was the elephant in the room as celebrities lined up for their interviews with Seacrest — until he pulled aside Hidden Figures star Taraji P. Henson.

“The universe has a way of taking care of taking care of good people,” she said pointedly, as she touched the E! host on the chin. “You know what I mean?”

Sure, it might have been a coincidence — but directly afterwards, she tellingly told another TV reporter: “I’m great now that I’m in your company.”

Henson and Seacrest’s interaction immediately became a hot topic on Twitter, with plenty of people in no doubt that the star had intended to throw shade his way.
