THE stars have walked the red carpet at today’s Academy Awards, with Aussie Margot Robbie and Lupita Nyong’o among the fashion standouts of the evening.

First, to perhaps the most controversial dress of the night, Aussie Nicole Kidman’s bold, blue bowed frock. Fashion commentators were divided - we LOVE it (Our Nicole can do no wrong, tbh).

Lupita Nyong'o is another clear Best Dressed contender, looking like an Oscar herself:

Actress Blanca Blanco, who wore easily the most revealing dress at the Golden Globes earlier this year and suffered a wardrobe malfunction at last year’s Oscars, again flashed the flesh with this plunging neckline:
