Margot Robbie owns the Oscars red carpet with a drastic new hairstyle
Margot Robbie has emerged at the Oscars with a stunning new look as the film her company produced scores the first award of the night.
Never one to set a foot wrong on a red carpet, Aussie golden girl Margot Robbie has wowed fans with a stunning new hairstyle.
The actress, whose production company LuckyChap Entertainment produced Best Original Screenplay winner Promising Young Woman, emerged with her blonde locks styled blunt bangs in a loose low ponytail.

The former Neighbours star, who sported a much shorter, blonder cut at the Golden Globes this year, also flaunted a more honeyed, natural tone.
She wore a silver floral Chanel gown with thin straps and minimal accessories.

In a December 2020 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Robbie spoke about how her company LuckyChap strives to elevate female storytellers.
Of Promising Young Woman, she said: “I was like, ‘I think I’m who people would expect to be cast in this,’” she said.
“But the most delightful thing about Promising Young Woman is that it takes you by surprise, and I just felt like I wouldn’t be that surprising — me doing these kinds of things with people’s perception of who I am and the characters that I’ve played,” she explained.
“Carey Mulligan, however, is an actress that has this air of prestige around her. She’s in period dramas. Throw her in Promising Young Woman, and people’s minds get blown.” Mulligan is nominated for Best Actress.
Elsewhere on the Oscars carpet tonight, it wasn’t all wins for new hair looks.
Oscar winner Halle Berry, who is known for mixing it up from her iconic crop, to the year she rocked her natural curls, had fans baffled over her daring style: an asymmetric bob.
