Mandy Moore’s hilarious post-Emmy’s confession

It was a very polished Mandy Moore that hit the red carpet at the Emmys – but the reality of her night was very different.

Mandy Moore stripped down for a late-night pizza party following the Emmys.

“I’m home, naked in my pantry,” the This Is Us star revealed in a video shared to her Instagram story.

“Took the fake bangs out, eating pizza. I have a 4:30am call time.”

The quick clip was strategically taken from the shoulders up and indeed seemed to be filmed inside Moore’s pantry.

“The real glamour,” she joked in the caption.

While Moore’s red-carpet makeup was still intact, the 37-year-old actress ditched her faux bangs and pulled her hair up into a messy bun.

Earlier in the evening, Moore walked the red carpet at the awards show in a stunning red gown by Carolina Herrera.

She also took to social media to share her favourite accessory of the evening — her breast pump.

“Tonight’s MVP accessory,” wrote Moore, who gave birth to her first child, a son named August “Gus” Harrison, with husband Taylor Goldsmith in February.

Moore’s attendance at the Emmys came just one day after she revealed Goldsmith’s band, Dawes, had to cancel several of their upcoming tour dates due to members contracting “a few positive tests” for Covid-19.

In the days leading up to the Emmys, Moore was in Los Angeles while Goldsmith was busy on tour with his band on the opposite coast. The Emmys required all guests to provide a negative Covid-19 test and proof of vaccination in order to attend.
