Based on an Ancient Chinese novel, Journey to the West, the game follows the Monkey King, Sun Wukong, as he tries to uncover “the obscured truth beneath the veil of a glorious legend”.
With plenty of fantasy elements, ambitious visuals, cool-looking combat, and diverse game bosses, fans of the genre will definitely want to add this one to cart.

A direct sequel to 2010’s Space Marine, the long-awaited Space Marine 2 is set to hit our screens in early September. Star Wars is getting its first-ever open world game and, out of all the amazing titles being released in 2024, this is the one I’m personally holding out for. Set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, Star Wars Outlaws follows clever scoundrel Kay Vess, as she takes on high-risk missions as one of the galaxy’s most wanted.
Unlike last year’s Jedi: Survivor, you won’t have Jedi powers or a lightsaber to rely on. Instead, you’ll need to steal, outwit and blast your way through the game with the help of your alien companion Nix and BX-Series Droid Commando, ND-5.
Sonic X Shadow Generations

Revealed at the January 2024 State of Play, Shadow X Shadow Generations is a remaster of the 2011 game Sonic Generations, with upgraded visuals, 60 FPS gameplay, and a brand-new story campaign for Shadow the Hedgehog. Silent Hill 2 Remake

Layers of Fear developer Bloober Team has announced it’s teaming up with Konami to breathe new life into iconic survival horror game, Silent Hill. Like its predecessor, the remake will follow James Sunderland as he’s beckoned back to the eerie titular town by a mysterious letter from his deceased wife. However, it’s not yet known how, or if, there will be substantial changes to the story from there.
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn

Previously scheduled for a 2023 release, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn has been pushed back to a 2024 window. The open-world action role-player from developer A44 will have you living on the brink of extinction as you undertake a personal vendetta against the Gods. Lead humanity’s final siege against the Gods and their armies of the Dead and retake the world – aided by magic and plenty of gunpowder, of course.

Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean

Hollow Knight: Silksong

Okay, this one might just be me crossing my fingers. After a ton of delays, there's still no word on when we’ll get the sequel to 2017’s incredible Metroidvania, Hollow Knight. But a girl can dream.
Set in a whole new kingdom, Hollow Knight: Silksong will see you play as princess-protector/former boss, Hornet, as she battles foes and solves mysteries. If it’s anything like its predecessor, we can also expect gorgeous artwork, epic boss battles, powerful tools and suitably melancholy melodies.
