Travel Deals of the Week: Flight Centre, Virgin Australia, Luxury Escapes, Myer

London flights have taken a massive tumble, falling below $1300 return, Virgin's slinging another fantastic network-wide sale and so much more.

Thinking of your next adventure? There's loads of flights on sale, discounted resort packages and travel accessories to upgrade your kit at a bargain price this week.

The first to catch our eye are these flights to London on Flight Centre. Starting at $1289 return from Melbourne it really does sound like prices are falling this year. You'll be flying China Southern Airlines (which means a stopover) and travelling last-minute (from February 25, 2025 to March 25, 2025) but at these prices we reckon it's worth it.

Prefer to fly into Europe instead? Etihad Airways has your back with up to 30 per cent off flights. Sample fares include Sydney to Paris from $1611 return, Melbourne to Barcelona from $1614 return and Melbourne to Copenhagen from $1779 return.

If you're sticking closer to home this year Luxury Escapes is the place to get all those resort feels without blowing the budget. We're right now in the last days of its Best Of 2024 Sale which sees bestsellers return from the archives. This includes 53 per cent of three-night QT Gold Coast packages ($799 per room),  68 per cent off two-night getaways at The Star Grand Brisbane ($699 per room) and 53 per cent off all-inclusive stays at Adodya Resort Bali (five-nights from $1799 per room).

To get there Virgin Australia has domestic seats on sale from $49 each way and Mix & Match has $20 off all return domestic flights when you spend $250 or more. If you prefer to road-trip it instead, Camplify is taking $100 off hires when you sign up for their emails.

Escape Deals isn't without its winners, either. Two-nights at the adults-only beachfront The Shore at Katathani in Phuket is now $1750 per room while Bali's family-friendly Dynasty Resort has been knocked back to $1264 for six-nights. That includes a smattering of extras such as breakfast, meals, massages and discounts. 

Now, let's talk travel accessories.

There's a lot going on in terms of bundles, so if you love to stock up you can save up to 15 per cent on Ever Vessel water bottles, up to 25 per cent off Boody undies, up to $153 off Bescher Beauty products and up to 40 per cent off trtl travel pillows.

Myer is clearing its shelves with up to half off men's, women's and kids' fashion. As part of the sale you can snap up a 68cm Radley Southwell Gardens Hardside suitcase for $140 (down from $349), grab a pair of New Balance 574 Sneakers in Slate Grey for $79 (down from $160) and finish off your outfit with this Mimco Puffer Leather Mini Crossbody. At 68 per cent off it's bound to fly off the shelves at $79 (originally $229.95).

After selling out over Christmas, the Samsonite's C-Lite Suitcase in the limited Northern Lights design is back and what's more The Iconic has it for 40 per cent off, down to $599.40.
