“When I visited London in May, I wasn’t excited about seeing Big Ben or a possible royal (which I did, even though it was only Camilla whizzing out of Buckingham Palace). No, I was most excited about finally getting to shop Glossier, the cult beauty brand that gets rave reviews. But in exciting news Aussies can now shop Glossier online (!!) via their website. I shopped up a storm at Glossier’s Convent Garden but my favourite buy was their Lash Slick Mascara. It’s the perfect everyday mascara, giving me full and lush-looking lashes while also nailing that no-makeup brief so I can pretend my eyelashes actually look good without mascara. What I love most is how buildable it is and that it never, ever transfers. It doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing mascara, making it a gamechanger that I’m obsessed with and will be buying again.” – Hannah Paine, news.com.au checkout Editor

“My little Frenchie Louie is loving this handy treat holder from Frank Green. Yep, where you buy your favourite reusable water bottle from, you can now shop a bunch of adorable pet accessories. And did you know the entire frank green Pet Collection won the Good Design Award 2023 for their product design – how cool!

I love that it’s super lightweight and I can easily clip it onto his leash during our walks. Makes training him and getting his attention on walks so much easier, plus it holds a decent amount of little dog treats.” – Marina Tatas, Shopping Writer

“I recently moved out of home for the first time and this cookbook has seriously changed my life. The recipes are all super easy to follow, the ingredients easy to find at Woolies and most importantly, they all taste so good. I also really appreciate that she includes how long each dish can last in the fridge and freezer for. A true godsend when it comes to cooking for one.” – Philippa Tonkin, Shopping Writer

“As a fussy sleeper, I’ve never been able to wear a mask to bed without ripping it off approximately five minutes later. On a recent trip from Sydney to Berlin though, I knew I’d have to wear one if I wanted any chance at some shut eye. After combing through tons of products online, I finally found this 3D sleep mask by SLADAGON. Made from memory foam, it’s more comfortable than other masks I’ve tried, and has deeper sections in the middle so I can actually open my eyes, which makes it far less irritating. The padding on the nose did annoy me a little bit, but it also blocked out so much light that I was actually able to snooze in peace.” – Lauren Chaplin, Consumer Technology Reporter

“Throw out every other lip balm you’ve ever owned – this one is so cheap and it is seriously life changing. I’ve been using it on and off for a few years now but recently rediscovered it when I was sick and had lips drier than the Sahara desert. Popped this baby on, took an hour nap and I woke up to a brand new set of lips. This lip balm is so hydrating and nourishing, plus it looks amazing over the top of you favourite lip liner. It also comes in a bunch of different flavours and scents – so that’s fun! They all work really well and if you haven’t tried this yet, you have to RUN.” - Marina Tatas, Shopping Writer

“When I say this changed my life, I mean it. I recently got a TV for my room and wanted to be able to have access to multiple streaming platforms. The Google Chromecast was PERFECT for me – it’s easy to set up especially through your phone, very user friendly and so versatile. I’ve been able to stream my favourite TV shows, movies and videos across Foxtel, Netflix, YouTube, Twitch, Prime Video, Disney+ and more – like what else could you ask for? You can even listen to music on it through Spotify and play games on it – which may not be necessary but it’s still a cool feature! The remote offers voice control with Google Assistant and is very straightforward (there aren’t a million buttons).” – Harriet Amurao, Shopping Writer

“Now that the weather is hotter I’m transitioning from leggings to bike shorts for my gym workouts and runs. These ones from Rockwear’s Base collection – their active essentials range – have now become my go-to. It’s everything I want from a bike short – comfortable to work out in, good length (not too short or too long), high rise and a lovely thick material (but not overly thick either) that’s supportive and holds you in and doesn’t roll down, ride up or move. Plus, it has pockets which is essential for me when I’m out for a run.” – Melody Teh. news.com.au checkout Deputy Editor

“I am far from a tennis girl, in fact I’ve never played the sport before, but what I do love is the fashion around it and this Tennis Club Knit Button Down Mini Dress from Dazie is the perfect marriage of sporty and chic (but probably not practical for actually playing tennis). The dress has become the perfect addition to my spring wardrobe due to its ribbed knit fabric and length, I find it best styled with a cape and boots as shown here but you can also easily pair it with some sneakers for a day of running errands!” – Kriti Gupta, eCommerce Social Media Lead

Scholl Exfoliating Heel Peel, $13.99 (down from $15.99) at Chemist Warehouse

Scholl Exfoliating Heel Peel. Picture: Chemist Warehouse

“OK, sorry this one is a bit gross. Who likes talking about feet? But I’ve got to because it actually works. Now that it’s officially slides and sandal season and my feet are back into the world, I thought I’d give them some much-needed TLC. I tried this Exfoliating Heel Peel not really expecting much but boy does it work. You just put it on for about an hour, rinse it off, and then over the next week the hard skin from your heel peels off, leaving you with lovely soft and smooth heels. Not going to lie – the skin shedding is kind of disgusting and I tried not to think about it too much but the end result is worth it.” – Melody Teh, news.com.au checkout Deputy Editor
