We try the Essteele Per Benessere Ceramic Nonstick Induction Open Skillet.

“I’m no Gordon Ramsay but one thing I do love cooking scrambled eggs for breakfast. Sadly, my current cookware is non-stick, and for a little while now I’ve been looking for a non-stick skillet or frypan that can go the distance in the kitchen. Suffice to say, I’m very pleased with the Essteele Per Benessere Ceramic Nonstick Induction Open Skillet. At 24cm, it’s the perfect size for a range dishes alongside eggs including steak, pasta, fish and stir-frys. Its stainless steel base is suitable for different stove tops including induction, while its ceramic coating feels luxurious while also not too heavy. Alongside it being non-stick, it’s also dishwasher friendly, meaning I have currently zero time washing up, and more time to get on with my day. Highly recommend this product.” – Troy Nankervis, Shopping Writer

We try the L’Occitane Almond Exfoliating Delicious Paste.

”I honestly don’t know how I’ve gone so long without this exfoliating paste from L’Occitane. I’ve been a fan of their cult almond shower oil for a while now but have only just discovered this paste. I’m converted. Unlike other exfoliating scrubs, this one isn’t rough or harsh on the skin but is super nourishing and gentle. Made with crushed almond nuts and sugar crystals and whipped almond oil and butter, this feels so nice and luxe on the skin. The first time I tried it I came out of the bathroom raving about it to my housemate and saying she had to try it too. She’s now such a fan that I think I’m going to have to hide the tub from her. Trust me, this is a purchase you won’t regret.” – Philippa Tonkin, Shopping Writer

We try the STAX Premium Seamless Bralette.

“I’ve been a STAX girlie since 2020, so I’ve tried almost all of their different collections. The new Premium Seamless Bralette has made its way to the top of my list and is now one of my favourite styles from them – it’s soft, it’s comfortable and it feels like you’re wearing nothing. Part of their new Premium Seamless line and crafted from a sweat wicking fabric, you get to choose from six gorgeous colours – I wear and love Dovetail – plus an inclusive size range. The bralette design offers adjustable straps and the V cut is super flattering. And while it is light support (which is more appropriate for my chest size), I do feel that my bigger chested gals can size up and wear this as a comfortable bra top to lounge around or sleep in.” – Marina Tatas, Shopping Writer

Charlotte’s Hollywood Beauty Icon Lipstick in Candy Chic, $54 at Charlotte Tilbury

We try Charlotte’s Hollywood Beauty Icon Lipstick in Candy Chic.

“I’m in love with all things Charlotte Tilbury at the moment, in particular Charlotte’s Hollywood Beauty Icon Lipstick, in Candy Chic. I love everything about it from the stunning shiny case to the creamy pink lipstick inside. I expect a lot from lipstick. With my busy working mum life, I’m usually applying it on the train or at traffic lights in the car, so it needs to go on easily. I have dry skin so it needs to be moisturising. And I tend to wear one colour (no time for choice) so it needs to be the exact right shade to suit all occasions.

This lipstick from CT ticks all those boxes. It’s soft and moisturising and goes on like a dream. And the versatile pink colour is divine. I match it with the equally beautiful Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat lip liner – the perfect match – and find the colour stays on longer than other brands. In fact, I often have to take it off at the end of the day.

If I was only allowed to take one make-up item to a desert island, it would definitely be this lipstick …” – Susannah Hardy, Partnerships Writer

We try the Thermos RFF-004B GY Insulated Lunch Bag 4L in Miffy Gray.

”I’ve been after a good lunch bag that’s cute and obviously practical, and this one from Thermos is perfect. It not only keeps my food cold but it has a minimal design and it’s the perfect size – not too big and not too small. It’s durable and high quality, plus it’s insulated and has a little pocket for an ice pack or smaller items. It can easily fit tupperware containers and other little snacks, and it’s easy to clean the inside.” – Harriet Amurao, Shopping Writer

“I’ve been eyeing off SAINT VALENTINE for a while now and after one unsuccessful purchase, I finally landed on the Paris Huggies in Gold. I’ve been looking for a simple pair of earrings I can wear everyday that match the rest of my pieces – gold with a hint of diamonds – and these are perfect. The huggie style is cute and petite, allowing you to mix and match with other earrings styles while still giving you a touch of sparkle. I’m obsessed! ” – Marina Tatas, Shopping Writer

We try the SWIISH Supergreen Superfood Powder.

“I have seen influencers and creators online flaunt their daily morning routine that always seems to kick off with a supergreens vitamin drink of some kind, so when I got my hands on SWIISH’s Supergreen Powder, I was much obliged to try it out. While this hasn’t yet seen me consistently have the most picture-perfect TikTok-ified day complete with 5am starts and yoga each morning, having a little glass of Supergreen in the morning has made me feel a little healthier, and is an easy (and surprisingly tasty) way to get some vitamins in at the beginning of the day. I’ve enjoyed adding this into a banana smoothie with some protein and collagen powder, or having a glass of it mixed with just water in the midmorning when I’m craving a little drink of something. The taste of this greens drink is surprisingly refreshing, and I actually look forward to mixing up my little glass of healthy goodness at the start of the day.” – Jessica Smith, eCommerce Health and Wellness Writer

We try the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream All Over Miracle Oil.

“While this winter, I’ve probably been at my best when it comes to moisturising my body I’m still not as great as I should be. And there’s no reason except that I’m lazy and can’t be bothered. This is where the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream All-Over Miracle Oil comes in. Unlike a moisturiser that leaves you feeling wet and sticky, after spraying the oil and giving it a quick rub you’re good to go. It leaves your skin hydrated and smooth without that unwanted, greasy feeling. Plus, it is actually multipurpose. So far, I’ve only used it on my body but you can also use it on your hair and your cuticles too.” – Philippa Tonkin, Shopping Writer

Rodham by Curtis Sittenfeld, $22.99 at Amazon Australia

We recommend the book Rodham by Curtis Sittenfeld.

“I’ve had this book sitting on my shelves for years but it took a recent holiday to finally sit down and read it. Honestly, I don’t know what took me so long. I was hooked from the first page. The novel follows Hillary Rodham (not Clinton) and is based on the question: what if Hillary hadn’t married Bill? I consider myself fairly engaged when it comes to politics so this was right up my alley. Sittenfeld explores what it means to be an intelligent and ambitious woman in not only the public eye but also in every day life too and so expertly weaves fun little anecdotes with tragic, heartbreaking situations. Plus, with the US election coming up later this year, there has never been a better time to wonder what might have been.” – Philippa Tonkin, Shopping Writer

We try the Revlon ColorStay Xtensionnaire Mascara.

“To be upfront and honest, I naturally have long lashes that sometimes stay curled and are pretty lightly coloured on the ends. So when I’m looking for a mascara, I want something that’s going to give me volume, while also keeping them curled. And this Revlon mascara has been the quiet achiever I’ve been using for almost six months now. I love the tapered brush as it allows me to get into every nook and cranny. Plus the formula is super buildable and long lasting too.” – Marina Tatas, Shopping Writer

We try the Skinstitut Moisture Defence – Ultra Dry Face Cream.

“I recently went away for a long weekend and only took carry on baggage, which means one thing: I had to seriously limit my toiletry bag freedoms. I decided to see just how far I could go with this for the three days, and threw in just my Charlotte Tilbury Magic Hydration Revival Cleanser, my Airyday Pretty In Zinc Dreamscreen, and the Skinstitut Moisture Defence for Ultra Dry skin. In a compact 50ml tube, this was a super easy one to fit in a small bag, and gave me all the deep hydration I needed without the extra products I would usually lather on my skin. I love how thick this moisturiser is, a little bit goes a long way and despite it being heavily hydrating, it did not feel greasy on my skin. In fact, it left a matte, soft feeling that provided the perfect base for tinted zinc. This will be a permanent staple in my toiletry bag from now on.” – Jessica Smith, eCommerce Health and Wellness Writer

The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary, $17.70 at Amazon Australia

We recommend The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary.
We recommend The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary.

”I have been wanting to read The Flatshare, best-selling romantic comedy by Beth O’Leary, for some time. Last week, I finally did it. And it lived up to all expectations. A heartwarming story about finding friendship and hope in the most unusual circumstance. Tiffy needs to move out, away from her toxic ex-boyfriend. Leon, a nurse who works night shift, is looking to share his one-bedroom flat with someone who works nine to five. It’s the perfect arrangement, they never see each other and communicate only via post-it notes. They share a bed, but never at the same time. However, they soon realise you can learn a lot about a person through handwritten notes and slowly as they help each other through personal struggles, a friendship forms before they even meet. A delightful story about finding light and love at the end of the tunnel and how it’s never quite as you expect. Highly recommended for lovers of heartfelt rom-coms.” – Susannah Hardy, Partnerships Writer
