“I’m no Gordon Ramsay but one thing I do love cooking scrambled eggs for breakfast. Sadly, my current cookware is non-stick, and for a little while now I’ve been looking for a non-stick skillet or frypan that can go the distance in the kitchen. Suffice to say, I’m very pleased with the Essteele Per Benessere Ceramic Nonstick Induction Open Skillet. At 24cm, it’s the perfect size for a range dishes alongside eggs including steak, pasta, fish and stir-frys. Its stainless steel base is suitable for different stove tops including induction, while its ceramic coating feels luxurious while also not too heavy. Alongside it being non-stick, it’s also dishwasher friendly, meaning I have currently zero time washing up, and more time to get on with my day. ”I honestly don’t know how I’ve gone so long without this exfoliating paste from L’Occitane. I’ve been a fan of their cult almond shower oil for a while now but have only just discovered this paste. I’m converted. Unlike other exfoliating scrubs, this one isn’t rough or harsh on the skin but is super nourishing and gentle. Made with crushed almond nuts and sugar crystals and whipped almond oil and butter, this feels so nice and luxe on the skin. The first time I tried it I came out of the bathroom raving about it to my housemate and saying she had to try it too. She’s now such a fan that I think I’m going to have to hide the tub from her. The new Premium Seamless Bralette has made its way to the top of my list and is now one of my favourite styles from them – it’s soft, it’s comfortable and it feels like you’re wearing nothing. Part of their new Premium Seamless line and crafted from a sweat wicking fabric, you get to choose from six gorgeous colours – I wear and love Dovetail – plus an inclusive size range. The bralette design offers adjustable straps and the V cut is super flattering. “I’m in love with all things Charlotte Tilbury at the moment, in particular Charlotte’s Hollywood Beauty Icon Lipstick, in Candy Chic. I love everything about it from the stunning shiny case to the creamy pink lipstick inside. I expect a lot from lipstick. With my busy working mum life, I’m usually applying it on the train or at traffic lights in the car, so it needs to go on easily. I have dry skin so it needs to be moisturising. And I tend to wear one colour (no time for choice) so it needs to be the exact right shade to suit all occasions.
This lipstick from CT ticks all those boxes. It’s soft and moisturising and goes on like a dream. And the versatile pink colour is divine. I match it with the equally beautiful Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat lip liner – the perfect match – and find the colour stays on longer than other brands. In fact, I often have to take it off at the end of the day.

I consider myself fairly engaged when it comes to politics so this was right up my alley. “I recently went away for a long weekend and only took carry on baggage, which means one thing: I had to seriously limit my toiletry bag freedoms. I decided to see just how far I could go with this for the three days, and threw in just my Charlotte Tilbury Magic Hydration Revival Cleanser, my Airyday Pretty In Zinc Dreamscreen, and the Skinstitut Moisture Defence for Ultra Dry skin. In a compact 50ml tube, this was a super easy one to fit in a small bag, and gave me all the deep hydration I needed without the extra products I would usually lather on my skin. I love how thick this moisturiser is, a little bit goes a long way and despite it being heavily hydrating, it did not feel greasy on my skin. In fact, it left a matte, soft feeling that provided the perfect base for tinted zinc. Leon, a nurse who works night shift, is looking to share his one-bedroom flat with someone who works nine to five. It’s the perfect arrangement, they never see each other and communicate only via post-it notes. They share a bed, but never at the same time. However, they soon realise you can learn a lot about a person through handwritten notes and slowly as they help each other through personal struggles, a friendship forms before they even meet. A delightful story about finding light and love at the end of the tunnel and how it’s never quite as you expect.
