There are few people as candid as Abbie Chatfield.
She first landed on our screens back in 2019 on The Bachelor. Since then, Abbie has had her own radio show, hosted reality show FBoy Island, been a panellist on The Masked Singer, created a legion of fans through her ‘It’s A Lot’ podcast and accumulated close to a million followers on her social media channels.
In her latest star turn, she’s starring in boyfriend Adam Hyde’s video for his new song Online Jesus, released under his solo artist name of Keli Holiday, in which the pair flaunt their red-hot chemistry.
When we caught up with Abbie at a recent Don Julio event she revealed the pair can also be very domesticated and shared the one thing Adam can’t get enough of when he’s at her new house in Byron.
Here she tells news.com.au checkout about the things she’s bought lately and loves.
WHAT PRODUCTS ARE IN ABBIE CHATFIELD’S HAIR ROUTINE?
Bondi Boost Blowout Brush 75mm, $100 at THE ICONIC
“I use a brush blow dryer then I’ll spray this Colour Wow spray, which is JLo’s hairstylist, Chris Appleton’s one. It’s this curl spray that’s got oil in it, and then it ends up being not straight, but not curly.”
Colour Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray For Curly Hair, $56 at Sephora
WHAT PRODUCTS ARE IN ABBIE CHATFIELD’S SKINCARE ROUTINE?
CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser, $18.69 (down from $24.99) at Amazon Australia
“I feel like I have really sensitive skin, so I usually use CeraVe as a cleanser. And I’ll double cleanse with their cream to foam cleanser or the oil to foam one, depending on how I’m feeling. For me, cleansers don’t need to be crazy because I just need the makeup off. If I have a shoot, I’ll do a CeraVe, coconut oil and then a CeraVe. You know what I mean? I actually love CeraVe.”
WHAT PRODUCTS ARE IN ABBIE CHATFIELD’S BEAUTY CUPBOARD?
Milk Makeup Flex Foundation Stick, $62 at Sephora
Abbie’s best kept makeup secret? “The Milk Stick Foundation from Sephora, no one seems to use it. It’s very lightweight. It blends really easily.”
MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Skin All-In-One Palette, $108.75 (down from $145) at THE ICONIC
“I’ve been trying to do that colour correcting vibe instead of concealer. I took those ideas and I put them into using random different colour concealers and put pink under my eyes and green on my nose. And it’s colour theory and I feel like a scientist. So the Makeup Forever Palette is good for that.”
Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Blush, $53 at Anastasia Beverly Hills
“I also love the Anastasia Beverly Hills blush stick. My makeup artist Helen uses it for my eyeshadow and my blush as a base always. And then goes off that to make it like a cool base.”
Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Stix, $39 at Sephora
Holme Beauty Alignment Lip Liner, $37 at Holme Beauty
“Hilary Holmes, Holme Beauty, she’s a Melbourne makeup artist. Gorgeous chook. She’s lovely. And she also is the only person that I’ve ever found that actually has cool toned lip liners.”
ABBIE’S DRINK OF CHOICE: AM vs. PM
Breville The Barista Touch, $1,396 (down from $1,899) at Amazon Australia
“I have a really good coffee maker from Breville. Adam [Hyde of Peking Duk fame] uses it all the time. It makes him happy, so it makes me happy.”
Don Julio Reposado Tequila 750mL, $128 at BWS
“A spicy margarita because recently I’ve developed migraines from any kind of wine. One of the cocktails today has sparkling wine and I was like, ‘I can’t risk this’. And for my birthday, Adam took me to a winery and that’s when I was like, I’ve had enough because I had three tastes of a wine – migraine, vomiting, not well. So spicy margarita with Don Julio. Love it.”
WHAT’S THE FANCIEST ITEM IN ABBIE CHATFIELD’S NEW KITCHEN?
Smeg 50s Style 2 Slice Toaster, $269 at Myer
“I do have the cream (Smeg) toaster … it all matches. The Smeg cream fridge. A Smeg cream oven.”
Smeg FAB 50s Style 270L Retro Refrigerator, $2,990 at Appliances Online
“I need to tell you, I’m bursting because no one ever asks me about this … I got a zip tap. It was so expensive. But it’s so worth it with instant sparkling, instant hot, instant cold. With the renos, I was like, ‘Can I afford a zip tap? I can afford a zip tap’. So it’s very exciting. God, it’s good having instant cold, filtered water.”
