A second teenager has been charged and two others arrested for an alleged brawl at Tarneit senior college that saw four teachers attacked.

A 15-year old girl was charged with affray, stalking, riotous behaviour and assault.

She was bailed and will appear at children’s court at a later date.

Two other teenage girls, a 13 and 14-year-old, were arrested and are expected to be charged on summons.

A 19-year-old girl has also been charged with affray for the incident that saw four teachers allegedly attacked while coming to the aid of a student at Tarneit Senior College.

The investigation remains ongoing.

It comes as students at the trouble-plagued Tarneit Senior College are being attacked in the schoolyard with deadly weapons including tasers.

The Herald Sun has obtained several internal incident reports, which show teachers reporting taser attacks and other serious incidents including vicious fights.

“(Student’s name) brought a taser to school and used it on (another student). He then refused to hand the taser over to a teacher,” one report said.

It’s understood the students involved were suspended for three days.

Four staff members fell victim to an alleged assault by teens while coming to the rescue of a student who was ambushed in an after-school group attack on Tuesday.

Footage of the assault showed a number of teachers attempting to intervene before getting caught up in the scuffle – some struck as they did so.

The school is understood to have hired two security guards in the wake of the attack.

The Herald Sun has seen reports of fights in the schoolyard, which have resulted in a number of students also being suspended.

It is understood that ongoing tensions between a group of teenage girls in the Wyndham area have sparked some of the violent assaults, with the same group believed to be responsible for several other targeted attacks.

In another recent incident, it’s believed a Tarneit student was rushed to hospital after being attacked on a bus by a group of girls.

Parents and staff said they are “too scared” to work amid fears of escalating violence at the school.

“There have been a number of incidents where teachers have been sworn at on yard duty, we’ve been breaking up fights and confiscating vapes,” one teacher said.

“The latest incident has terrified all of us, we felt like we were under siege.

“Enough is enough, we deserve to feel safe on the job. We want the department to step in and we want a stronger police presence around the school.”

Shadow Education Minister Matt Bach said: It’s unacceptable and the government must call this behaviour out, not leave it to the department to make comments.”

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said there would not be an ongoing police presence at the school, but investigators were working with several nearby schools to provide additional safety support to prevent future attacks.

“We are monitoring intelligence to proactively intervene and prevent disputes before they occur. If incidents do occur, police will respond immediately,” she said.

“The Proactive Policing Unit is engaged with several local schools in the Wyndham area that are involved to provide safety advice and support.”

A Department of Education spokesman said: “We are working closely with the school and Victoria Police to support the students and staff impacted by these assaults and to prevent it from happening again.”

“This includes conducting a security audit of the school to determine what additional preventive measures might be installed,” he said.

“We work closely with Tarneit Senior College and other schools in the area to proactively deal with issues in the community that impact on our schools.”
