Police have launched a national manhunt for a Hells Angel bikie wanted in connection with the murder of Jason De Ieso.

A warrant for the arrest of Kyle Lloyd Pryde, 31, was taken out in Adelaide Magistrates Court on August 26, but Major Crime detectives have been unable to locate him.

Detectives are uncertain if Pryde, who lived at Newton, has fled SA or has sought refuge from underworld associates.

Pryde is wanted in connection with the murder of Jason De Ieso, 33, who was shot dead at his Pooraka paint and panel workshop on November 21 2012.

Five other men have so far been charged in connection with the case following a lengthy covert investigation.

Mr De Ieso was shot in the head when a group of nine men burst into his workshop and fired several shots. The incident was the culmination of several days of feuding between the Hells Angels North Crew and Finks bikies.

Major Crime officer-in-charge Detective Superintendent Des Bray warned the public not to approach Pryde and said he “should be considered dangerous’’ because of his access to firearms.

“He should not be approached, but anyone with information about his current location should contact police in their state immediately,’’ he said.

“If Kyle Pryde becomes aware of this public release of information I would urge him to consider his actions.

“He should reconsider what he is doing, contact a solicitor and surrender to police.”

Pryde has been a high profile member of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club North Crew since about 2011.

Detectives have so far charged five other men in connection with the De Ieso murder, but intensive investigations have continued since the breakthrough in the cold case in early August.

“Sufficient evidence has been obtained for us to seek a warrant, but extensive inquiries by police have failed to locate him,” Detective Supt. Bray said.

Pryde is 178cm tall, weighs 100kg and has a light complexion, brown eyes and short brown hair.

He also has a range of distinctive tattoos on his arms and lower leg. A number of those are related directly to his involvement with the Hells Angels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.

In Adelaide Magistrates Court last week a woman who had been charged with assisting an offender had the charges against her withdrawn by prosecutors. The reasons for this have been suppressed.

Anyone with any information on Pryde is urged to contact police on triple-0.
