A woman has faced court charged with the stabbing murder of a man in Melbourne’s northeast.
Bree Dellamarta, 41, was arrested at the man’s Koitaki Court property in Heidelberg Heights after his body was found about 12.05am on Friday.
She sat quietly in the dock at Melbourne Magistrates Court as her Victorian Legal Aid lawyer Jack Rabl detailed how she has an intellectual disability which would make her vulnerable in custody.
“This is Ms Dellamarta’s first time in custody,” Mr Rabl said.
“She’s a woman with no prior criminal history.”
