A suspected young Hells Angel bikie has been arrested and drugs and ammunition seized during a raid in Melbourne’s north.
Officers from the Echo Taskforce searched a property on Allawah Court in Mill Park on Tuesday, where they found and seized a number of items, including cannabis, ammunition, a motorcycle and a vehicle.
They arrested a 22-year-old man and have since charged him with non-prohibited person possessing a firearm, possessing a drug of dependence and possessing ammunition without a permit.
The man, from Mill Park, is a member of the outlaw motorcycle gang.
He was bailed to appear at the Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court on June 16.
“Detectives will now await the results of a forensic examination of the seized vehicle,” a Victoria Police statement said.
