Sawn-off shotgun leads to bikie clubhouse in garage
Police uncovered a Finks bikie clubhouse in the garage of a Mount Eliza home after a loaded sawn-off shotgun was found in a hire car.

A Finks bikie clubhouse has been uncovered in a suburban garage after a loaded sawn-off shotgun was found in a hire car in Melbourne’s south.
Frankston CIU detectives have arrested three men after drugs and the sawn-off were found in a hire car intercepted at Skye on Friday morning.
Police saw the Kia Sportage and three men standing around a bowser at a service station on the Westernport Highway at 1.50am.
They intercepted it and searched the car, allegedly finding drugs, steroids and the gun.
Detectives then carried out a warrant on a Mount Eliza home where methylamphetamine, steroids and ammunition were seized.
The property’s garage had been turned into an outlaw motorcycle gang clubhouse.
A 45-year-old man, who police say is a member of the Finks OMCG, has been charged with drug trafficking and possession.
He also faces counts of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, possessing an unregistered handgun, possessing cartridge ammunition without a licence, committing an indictable offence whilst on bail and contravening bail conditions.
The Fink was remanded to appear at Frankston Magistrates’ Court on February 19.
A 21-year-old Cranbourne East man was charged with trafficking methylamphetamine, possess amphetamine and possessing an unregistered handgun.
He was bailed to appear at Frankston Magistrates’ Court November 26.
Police said a 35-year-old Mornington man was released pending further inquiries.
The Finks have been highly active in the south and southeastern suburbs in recent years.
They have been linked to turf conflict with the Mongols OMCG.
