Three teens have been charged after a young boy riding a scooter was allegedly stabbed when he was set upon by 10 youths in a brutal street attack in Carlton.
A warrant was executed on Sunday and two of the teens, aged 15 and 16, were arrested.
A third boy, aged 14, was arrested late on Sunday night.
The trio has been charged with a range of offences, including intentionally cause serious injury.
The 15-year-old victim was on Cardigan St at 5.30pm Saturday when the thugs approached him.
He was allegedly stabbed moments later in a brief onslaught which has left him in a stable condition in hospital.
The trio has all been remanded in custody to appear at a children’s court on Monday.
Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives continue to investigate.
