Counter terror police arrested two men after an alleged assault in Docklands on Monday.

Neo-nazi Thomas Sewell, 27, has been charged with affray, recklessly cause injury and unlawful assault.

It comes after Sewell allegedly assaulted a Channel 9 security guard in a sickening attack, which was filmed and uploaded to social media.

The footage captures Sewell punching the security guard multiple times in the head as well as pinning him to the ground.

Sewell has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on July 27.

A 21-year-old Rowville man, who filmed the assault and uploaded it to social media, was released pending further inquiries.

Sewell confronted the security guard on Monday just hours before he was featured in a news story about white supremacist organisations.
