Homicide detectives investigate roadside death near Lang Lang
A man police were searching for over breaching his parole has died after being hit by a car near Lang Lang. The man’s sister said he was an amazing person who would do anything for anyone.

A man has been charged with murder after allegedly running down a wanted parollee in Yannathan, near Lang Lang, this morning.
Luke Price, 34, died of his injuries when he was struck by a Holden Colorado ute on Heads Rd in Yannathan, 85km southeast of Melbourne, just after midnight yesterday. His death came two days after police issued a warrant for his arrest for breaching parole.
The 33-year-old driver of the Holden Colorado was arrested at the scene and charged with murder on Tuesday afternoon.
He will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Price, a convicted criminal and father of two, had been in a black Holden Cruze displaying green P-plates prior to his death.
It is believed he stepped out onto the road before he was allegedly struck by the Colorado and dragged down the road.

The driver’s side of the Cruze was completely caved in from the force of the smash.
His sister Brooke Prise said he was one amazing son, brother and dad.
“He would do anything for anyone. He did not deserve to die,” she said.
In December 2017, two warrants were issued for Price’s arrest for matters including a police car ramming, pursuit and car theft and petrol drive off in the Drouin area.
