Police were called to a home on Ross St in Dandenong following reports a woman was being attacked by dogs in a backyard.
Officers deployed OC spray on the animals but it failed to deter the three dogs.

It remains unclear whether the woman owns the three dogs or if it was her property.
In a separate attack, an elderly woman was set upon by another pack of dogs in Sunbury in late August.
A day later, the same dogs mauled a young mother who was walking with her baby.
