Tyabb car crash: Woman dies after Graydens Rd multi-car collision on May 19

An elderly woman has died and police are appealing for dashcam footage as they investigate the cause of a multi-car collision in Melbourne’s West.

A woman has died in hospital following an horrific car crash in Tyabb.

The messy collision involved a Mitsubishi Triton ute, a Nissan sedan and a Holden Captiva, with emergency services attending the Graydens Rd scene at about 6pm on May 19.

The driver of the Nissan, a 76-year-old Hastings woman, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died in hospital on May 29.

No others involved in the crash were seriously injured, with the driver of the ute and the driver of the Holden both taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The passenger of the Nissan, a 15-year-old Tyabb teenager, was uninjured.

Detectives are continuing investigations into the collision and are encouraging anyone with dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
