Video footage emerges of child stabbing attack in Frankston

Disturbing footage has emerged online of a stabbing attack on an 11-year-old girl in Frankston as two youths are charged over the incident.

Disturbing footage of the stabbing attack on an 11-year-old girl in Frankston is circulating on social media.

In the graphic footage, a defenceless girl slumps forward on all fours while a sharp object is repeatedly plunged into her bare back by another teenager.

A 14-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl have been charged with armed robbery and assault.

Wounds are visible on the back of the 11-year-old girl as she does not even try to defend herself.

Voices can be heard saying “get her again” and “f---ing Frankston b----” during the stabbing.

The victim is also spat on, kicked and called a racial slur as she rests on her elbows.

It is understood the footage was filmed on Gallery Lane near Bayside Centre Shopping Mall at 12.15am on Thursday after three youths allegedly approached the girl.

The Herald Sun understands the footage was being circulated on social media on Friday morning.

The young girl was taken to Frankston Hospital with non-life threatening injuries to her upper body.

The 14-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl were summonsed to appear at a children’s court at a later date.

An 11-year-old girl was released pending summons.

Police allege the offenders demanded the girl hand over her mobile phone and personal items before attacking her with a sharp object.

Victoria Police confirmed they were investigating the footage that surfaced online.

“Police are aware of video footage of an armed robbery and stabbing incident in Frankston, which has been widely shared on social media,” a statement said.

“The footage is being used as part of the investigation.

“The matter is before the court, and we will not be providing any further comment.”
