A boy has died and a teenage girl has been taken to hospital after a horror quad bike accident in Melbourne’s outer east on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to a property on McKillop Rd in Mount Evelyn about 12.30pm following reports of an ATV accident.
A 17-year-old boy was treated by paramedics at the scene but could not be revived.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed a teenage girl had been treated for minor injuries and was taken to Maroondah Hospital in a stable condition.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
