Police are on the hunt for two men, one armed with a firearm, that threatened staff during a frightening hold up in Moorabbin.

Police are appealing for help to catch two men who held up a business in a frightening ordeal in Melbourne’s southeast.

Police are investigating an armed robbery after two men, one armed with a firearm, entered a business on Wren Rd, Moorabbin last month.

It’s alleged the men stormed the business about 11.20am on Wednesday, December 20 then threatened two workers and demanded cash and a mobile phone.

One of the workers was assaulted during the incident, sustaining minor injuries that did not require medical treatment.

Detectives have released images of two men they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

A Victoria Police spokesman said: “The first man is perceived to be approximately 183cm tall, with a solid build, wearing a red helmet, dark hoodie with ‘07’ logo on the front.

“The second man is perceived to be approximately 183cm tall, with a solid build, wearing a blue helmet, dark hoodie with a grey hood and a multi-zip black backpack.”
